Goose

Block's open-source agent, on the desktop and in the terminal. It adds Laterbase as an extension, and the skills show up as slash commands like /prompt quick in the CLI.

Connect

  1. Sign in, open Connections on the dashboard and create an API key. It's shown once, so copy it into the snippet straight away. One key per machine keeps things tidy.
  2. In Goose, open Extensions, then Add custom extension, and pick Streamable HTTP.
  3. Copy each value below into its field.
Namelaterbase
Endpointhttps://laterbase.dev/mcp
HeaderAuthorization
ValueBearer lb_live_your_key

Save it. In the CLI, run goose configure, then Add Extension, then Remote Extension.

In more than one workspace? Add one server per workspace, each with its own key and a name like laterbase-acme, so agents can work in both at once. See Workspaces and connections.

Check it works

Extensions lists laterbase, switched on. Ask which Laterbase workspace am I in? and it answers with your workspace.

Disconnect

In Extensions, open the extension's settings and press Remove Extension. To cut it off for good, revoke the key on Connections. Agents using it stop working on their next call.
