Connect
opencode
opencode is an open-source coding agent for the terminal. It uses Laterbase as a remote MCP server, and the skills show up as slash commands like /laterbase:quick.
Connect
- Sign in, open Connections on the dashboard and create an API key. It's shown once, so copy it into the snippet straight away. One key per machine keeps things tidy.
- Add the server to
~/.config/opencode/opencode.json, merging it intomcpif the file already has other servers.
"oauth": false tells opencode to use the key rather than look for a sign-in.
In more than one workspace? Add one server per workspace, each with its own key and a name like laterbase-acme, so agents can work in both at once. See Workspaces and connections.
Check it works
opencode mcp list shows laterbase as connected.
Disconnect
Delete the laterbase entry from opencode.json. To cut it off for good, revoke the key on Connections. Agents using it stop working on their next call.
