Connect
Other clients
Any MCP client that supports remote servers over Streamable HTTP and lets you set a request header can connect. Send the API key as a bearer token on every request.
Connect
- Sign in, open Connections on the dashboard and create an API key. It's shown once, so copy it into the snippet straight away. One key per machine keeps things tidy.
- Add a remote (HTTP) server with these values.
Use the URL exactly as shown. Clients drop the Authorization header when they follow a redirect, so a different host or a trailing slash can look like a bad key.
In more than one workspace? Add one server per workspace, each with its own key and a name like laterbase-acme, so agents can work in both at once. See Workspaces and connections.
Check it works
Listing tools returns the Laterbase tools. Calling get_context returns your workspace. A 401 means the header is missing or the key was revoked.
Disconnect
Remove the server from your client's config. To cut it off for good, revoke the key on Connections. Agents using it stop working on their next call.
